Arts Emergency Relief Fund (Round Two for Artists and Small Ensembles)
In light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the artist community, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts is creating a temporary fund to meet the needs of experimental artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions. The Berkeley FILM Foundation (BFF) is pleased to announce the 2020 film and video grant program. Once you have read through the grant guidelines and find you are a qualified candidate, we invite you to submit an application from April 1 – May 18, 2020.The mission of the BFF is to nurture, sustain and preserve the thriving local film community and provides grants for social, historical and innovative documentary, animation and short dramatic work(s).Grant Description: The BFF fund will support Bay Area emerging and established independent filmmakers whose work combines intellectual clarity with creative use of the medium.
One-time grants of up to $2,000 are available for King County, WA cultural workers experiencing emergencies related to the COVID-19 virus and to support their creative responses in this time of crisis. The first round of funding will be available through June 15. Apply at any time within that time frame.
The San Diego Arts + Culture Challenge Fund offers financial support to the individuals and organizations that make up San Diego County’s creative workforce.

The Michigan Music Alliance is starting a fund to address the current needs of Michigan based musical artists whose incomes are being adversely impacted by COVID-19. With events of all types being canceled to reduce the spread of COVID-19, people who make income fully through gigs and freelance music work are losing critical opportunities to support their well-being.
Provides financial relief to workers and organizations in the creative industries impacted by COVID-19. This includes all artists and artisans, including stage and production members and part-time cultural workers, and large to small arts organizations in all disciplines.
