Emergency relief fund for artists in Kansas City
The Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis Artist Relief Fund awards grants of $500 or $1,000 to working artists who live in St. Louis City or St. Louis County whose immediate creative practices and incomes are being adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
This fund aims to assist those who are facing guaranteed lost income in the next 90 days (March 18th – June 10th) due to: A. Cancelling your artistic events (think gallery openings, performances, classes) AND/OR B. Receiving cancellation notices for scheduled artistic “gigs.”
This fund is for queer writers of color only, not organizations or nonprofits, who are in need of financial assistance right now
Platforms Fund has suspended its normal granting program in order to provide $2,000 individual emergency relief grants to local creators. Deadline is rolling.
Our goal is to provide emergency financial assistance to elderly musicians for medical and living expenses such as: temporary home care services,transportation services to and from doctor’s appointments, health and/or social services such as (but not limited to) dialysis, chemo therapy, radiation, transport to and from grocery/pharmacy stores etc., doctor visits and procedures, emergency services, financial aid for household utilities or other basic living expenses, assistance with burial costs
